All Play and No Work: 8-28

clip1

I wanted to do an update this week, even if it is on a different day than usual.

All work and no play?

As a lot of you know the launch for Body By Eats is coming up. Between that and the long commutes right now that is the reasoning for a bit of post delay. Never fear it will pick up some shortly. I have a lot of great articles that are half written and almost done so it is just a matter of time.  To give you a few teases here are their titles. Continue Reading…

Creatine 101

creatine-report-dose

Creatine is one of the most researched and legitimate supplements on the market. Still, there seems to be a lot of confusion as to how, when, and why to use it, and what to use it with. Hopefully after this brief report you will have a better understanding of Creatine and if it fits in your program. You will also be able to dispel myths that you may have heard in the past about Creatine. Prepare to get brain swole. Continue Reading…

1 article I don’t have to write now

Well scratch my long winded dedication to the Time Magazine article, Tom Venuto covered it very well. Looks like I will have to put a spin on it later. It’s a great article Tom did, I highly recommend checking it out.

Information Diet 3.0

information

All Play and No Work: 08-08

common-sense

This weeks theme is lack of common sense

I must have received around 14 different emails and message the past couple of days because of the Time article published this week on exercise.  Not to mention the countless board posts, facebook reposts, etc.

To me, most of the article was a big “um yeah, where you been?” The other parts where faceplant worthy. I love how once a mainstream media source says something people (already aware) stand up and take notice. This is great when it it is a awesome band you love, not so great when it is still full of holes and 10 weeks from now we are going to be reading about the evils of corn again. Continue Reading…

More to Love? A Dark Look at The Underbelly of…

more-to-love

That title just flew out my fingertips and on to the blog post. I have no control over that kind of genius.

Disclaimer: If you are easily offended, think that I could possibly hate someone for being overweight, or think this is anything more than amateur psychology, don’t bother reading.

Last night  I sat down, wrapped myself up in my beat up blanket, and took in my 2nd round of the “More to Love” show. It delivered. Continue Reading…
