I listened to the podcast and really loved it. Your advice for the anorexic friend was great. You hit the nail on the head about anorexic/bulimics needing information/knowledge being I “knew” a lot, but when I read Emma Leigh’s articles on FLzine, something just clicked and I have not really had an episode/setback since then. Not perfect, but definitely better. Your other advice all around to me was great.
Concerning Sarah – You said 2.2 to 3.8 for moderate hill walking? That is what I consider myself doing (and I am average – 140 lbs, 5’9) yet my Gowear has me at 5-7 per minute calories. Is it overestimating? I used to walk alot so I was pretty conditioned but just in the last month have I been really going for long walks and I go up and down the hill on my road. I breathe heavier, but not gasping. I walk fairly brisk – 130 or more steps per minute. Just curious since I have been worried that my precious gadget has been overestimating me! It does not help that I read today about the body getting more efficient at exercise the longer you do it and burn less calories. Oh well, I did not mean to hijack – guess I need to make use of that handy “ask Leigh” section

LOVING the new podcasts and I listen to you almost non-stop at work. I apologize in advance for being an idiot, but I just can’t seem to get a password for the Subscriber’s Only section. I was a subscriber on your previous site and wish to be one again. Am I missing something? A brain perhaps? Please help. I feel like I’m missing out!
