Over the last 6 months my attitude towards my job has been changing more and more. When I initially dove into this job, I found the challenge was – how to achieve the quickest rate of fat loss, for varying individuals, using training and nutrition. I don’t wont to imply I am done, but I do know the bulk of the technique is done. It is now a matter of testing things out with people, watching them, and trying it on as many as possible.
Basically, in that realm, it is mostly running through the motions and educating others on the things I know and the research in my field.
The questions I was left asking myself were, “Why is the technical not enough?” “Why is the psychological battle my ultimate challenge with clients?” Because of these questions, and in honor of the obscene amount of research I am doing, I wanted to do a festival of motivation. A Motivationalpalooza if you will, except water won’t be five dollars a bottle. This will be a celebration of topics in motivation and psychology and its relation to body composition goals and general happiness. There will be some days where there will be two posts per day because I will need to cover other topics. However, for the next 30 days, I will be tackling this topic and hopefully hitting a few good nerves.
I want to start with an oldie, but a goodie. It is one of my favorite posts.

Wow I can’t wait for the next 30 days! Thanks to the FLTS and BBE I feel i’ve got the technical side down, but knowing what you have to do and actually doing it are too different things. Knowing that I’ll be hungry is not the same as actually being hungry. Add the ordinary stresses of everyday life and my perfectly formulated meal plan goes out the window
I’m excited for this month. That is my major stumbling block, the motivation to do the hard work. I’ve been filling out the form for your consult, and I feel like all I’m doing is whining and complaining (yea, I am…lol.)
I forgot about that article. I need to print it out and put it on my fridge.
Thanks Leigh.
Just what I need, Leigh! Thanks!
Looking forward to this Leigh. Love that article, will read it again
