I thought it was time for a revamp. Man, a lot has changed since the last time I wrote one of these.


For more than 15 years, I've maintained an 'About' page on my website. Website analytics reveal that this section receives minimal attention. That information along with other things I've gleaned through the years has lead me to an important conclusion: you're not here to learn about me, you're here to gain help for yourself. So, let's put my story aside to focus more on what I do and how I can help.

I’m foremost a writer. Even in having clients and helping people, the majority of the time it was in written form. Comments on a FB pages, articles in a magazine, messages to clients from afar—all text and all an effort in my ability to articulate the knowledge I’ve built through the years.

 
I have been in the industry for over 18 years now. That’s an astonishing number to write. During that time, I think I've gotten okay at working with a variety of people. 

I have various certifications, have contributed to some certifications, testings, and con-eds. I've been published by magazines, spoken at conferences, and done all the things that might technically make you feel more comfortable reading my work but I assure you, most of it matters very little. 


I've taught others who are now leaders and teachers in the industry themselves. I’ve helped thousands, either as clients or followers. The majority of that help has been on the topics of nutrition, metabolism, and behavior.


I believe in science and the use of critical thinking, along with qualitative and quantitative methods, to derive well-informed lessons for those who seek them.

On this site, you will find a hodge podge collection of material that will change more dramatically as the years go. I've been lucky enough to land a gig that will allow me to put my main work efforts in one place which in turn might let this be a bit more casual. Time will tell. 

I'm releasing on paperback, Audible, and Kindle a entirely new version of The Fat Loss Troubleshoot any day now.
